Programs in Chattanooga

Joining YEA in Chattanooga, Tennessee is easy! Students ages 13-19 can apply online through our website. The application process includes a brief questionnaire about their interests and goals. Once accepted, students are matched with the program that best fits their experience level and aspirations. There's no cost to join—all YEA programs are free for students.

The Chattanooga High School Pitch Competition is part of YEA's national Pitch League, where students present their business ideas to a panel of judges including local entrepreneurs and investors. Winners receive cash prizes up to $10,000, mentorship opportunities, and the chance to advance to regional and national finals. It's an incredible opportunity for Chattanooga students to gain real-world pitching experience.

Yes! Our Chattanooga Mentor Network connects students with successful entrepreneurs and business professionals from the Tennessee area. Mentors provide one-on-one guidance, industry insights, and networking opportunities. Many of our mentors are Chattanooga business owners who are passionate about giving back to the next generation of entrepreneurs.

YEA provides multiple funding pathways for Chattanooga teen entrepreneurs. Our Microgrant Program offers grants up to $1,000 for early-stage ideas, while the Startup Incubator provides seed funding up to $5,000 for more developed ventures. Additionally, pitch competition winners can earn substantial cash prizes. We've awarded over $100,000 to young entrepreneurs in the Tennessee region.
